Nathan and Lisa Parker, President of The Lawrence Welk Family Foundation, spoke at the Council on Foundations 2011 Family Philanthropy Conference in New York City.
In this presentation they asked the question: is it possible to talk about being philanthropic without first discussing wealth, financial responsibility, and inheritance? As well as addressed fears and hopes around those conversations. They also offered specific tips and resources for engaging, educating, and equipping the next generation for success.
