Talking to Your Kids About Money

Parents, Organizations

After a recent speaking engagement in San Rafael, California, a group of parents approached me with the following dilemma. In near unison they shared, “We want to talk with our kids about money, but we don’t know where to start or what to say.”

To be sure, this is a very common concern of parents throughout North America. In fact, it is that very conundrum that inspired me to create my new book and DVD for families, Money Sanity Solutions: Linking Money to Meaning.

The format is specifically designed to help your family have more intentional conversations about a variety of everyday money related topics. The goal: provide your family with a roadmap for dialogue and simple, actionable outcomes linked to each topic/chapter.

Imagine all of the benefits that your family will experience when you take control of these conversations versus “kicking the can” to another day. In the weeks ahead I will share some of the feedback we have heard from families that are embracing this new resource and in turn, helping everyone in the family develop healthy money habits.
